There's a lot of catch up blogging to do.. Homework from two weeks ago, so here we go.
Fig 1. This is the scene that we photographed and traced. In class, we made sketches over this scene to make the scene more exciting, but the result didn't offer good concepts to ideate with. I redid the scene and highlighted the ideas.Coming up with ideas on your own is hard, the process in class was much more spontaneous and surprising.

Fig 2. The idea of a camera was chosen, a camera that would capture somebodies aura or in other words, mood on the dance floor. Some form exploration were made.
Fig 3. A big camera was designed and multiple views were drawn of one design. I noticed that I was drawing SLR's because of the big lens that was fun to draw. Such a camera wouldn't be easy in a night club scene.
Fig 4. These were the final drawings for the home work. The camera is integrated into small devices that are easy to carry around in a night club scene. The entire sheet looks dull, because there isn't much ideation going on and all the ideas are high lighted. All the sketches on itself are more illustrations than sheet of explorations.
Fig 5. This wasn't part of the homework, but I wanted to draw multiples angles of one camera to present a design. In this picture, it clear that the drawing lacks contrast in outline. I was too afraid to add more contrast because I didn't want to overdo it.
